This is great if you have a nervous horse and want to slowly introduce you horse to the noise. With the machine running at a slower speed it reduces the noise level whilst still providing the power needed. When turned up to the high speed, it allows powerful clipping through most coat types.For tensioning - Assemble blades with tension assembly fitted. Tighten the nut until you feel the first signs of resistance.Switch on the clipper and rotate the tension nut clockwise until the sound of the blade noise changes tone (metallic purring) and commence clipping. If the clip is not satisfactory, slightly adjust the tension nut in a clockwise direction 1/4 turn until blades clip.This machine tensions from the top down, not the Lister way which is from the bottom up turning 1.5 turns upwards. -
The Bruno is our lightest clipper and can be used as a clipper or a trimmer. With a wide variety of blades available you can alter both the cutting height and width to suit the job at hand.Variable Speed- Variable speed allows you to be able to adjust the speed of the blades. By slowing the speed you can further reduce the noise level and vibration of the clipper. This is really good for nervous horses, horses being clipped for the first time or for clipping more sensitive areas, such as heads and legs.Easy to use- The small size of this clipper makes it ideal for people who are not used to clipping and also for clipping sensitive or nervous animals. It is light and easy to manoeuvre especially for the awkward and hard to reach places.Although this is a mains clipper, it comes with a split cable, which makes it compatible with our Liveryman Lithium-ion Battery Pack.The Bruno comes fitted with a narrow 1.6 blades, but is compatible for our full range of A5 snap on blades.Included is a durable storage bag, oil, brush and instructions. -
The Liveryman Classic spare trimmer blade fits on to the Liveryman Classic Trimmer and has a blade adjustment lever, to enable blending in of trimming to an existing clip, or for coping with different lengths of coats.This is a disposable blade and has a ceramic top blade which ensures longer life/usage. -
