This was my best buy of the year! If you fancy having warm and dry feet that keep inside their boots, even in mud up to your calves then these are the boots for you. You don't lose your socks inside the boots, and they are so comfortable you could wear them all day! You really should try a pair on when you see some, I am sure you will you will be impressed. Easy to clean, especially with the help of a brush if you want to keep them in tip top looks, or hose them off.

Griffin Nuu-Med High Wither 1/2 Wool Numnah  [ORDER]

A very smart numnah. The half sheepskin ensures the horse's comfort. Even if your horse is not particuarly high withered I recommend them as the cut of the numnah ensures that it cannot press down on to the horse's wither. Available in 2 weights so ideal all year round.

Ariat Leather Chaps (Classic Chap)  [ORDER]

Despite the name, the leather chaps are in fact half suede, that is a good thing as the inside leg provides both padding and grip (for the short amount of time that polo riding requires the calf to be in contact with the horse!) the padding is useful when a half ton of horse is careering side-on into your leg. The leather is top notch and stood up well to both stirrup and ground contact!!! The chaps are comfortable and remained in place during all aspects of the chukka. Only recommendation, if you are in any doubt about size, go for the just snug fit as the leather and elastic both give within the first outing, but not too much.
